I'm Ki Coale, and I run a residential landscape design studio based in Marin County. I'm a Northern California native, have a background in photography, and years of hands-on work with indigenous California and drought-tolerant plants.
Every project starts on site: observing the light, existing plants and materials, and listening to your needs and desires. From there, how involved you want to be is up to you. Some clients walk a nursery with me and pick plants together, some point to what they like in a neighbor's yard, some hand the whole thing over. The end result will be something lovely, low-maintenance, and drought tolerant.
Regardless, the goal is a living palette that you will be happy with from day one and for years to come.
